Jon is currently the National Key Account Manager with Puma Australia, looking after the country’s largest sporting retailer, Rebel Sport.

Jon’s story began when he left Sydney’s Northern Beaches to follow his dream of playing first class cricket.  He moved to Melbourne with a non existent profile and build a successful cricket career with the Victorian Bushrangers and Derbyshire County Cricket Club in the UK.  During almost a decade at the elite level, Jon experienced plenty of high’s, but more important, was his ability to deal with adversity.  Amongst his low’s was the death of his coach, mentor and friend, David Hookes.  This being only six months after the death of his first Victorian coach, John Scholes.

Jon was also a member of the 1997 Maccabiah Cricket Team that won the Gold Medal in the Jewish Maccabiah Games in Israel.  A significant event for Jon, as he was an integral part of the historic bridge collapse prior to the opening ceremony in which 4 team members lost their lives and many others badly injured.

Jon has had considerable association with companies such as Cricket Australia, Cricket Victoria, Cricket NSW, Australian Cricketers’ Association, Puma Australia, Bridgestone, Fox Sports, SEN 116 Radio Network (VIC), Goldman Sachs JB Were, Nylex, Fitness 2 Live, The Australia Club and Match Point Corporate Hospitality.

His passion and enthusiasm for the game has now led him to be well regarded in the media as part of the Fox Sports Cricket Commentary Team.
